Over the Top

Fri Aug 7, 2009, 8:46 PM
  • Watching: Shows I've seen
  • Eating: at least three light, healthy meals a day
August 1st I got hit by a car while riding my bike. I got rolled over the hood and thrown onto the pavement. I don't mind most of the sprains, contusions, and abrasions so much, but my ear got torn up. We've been watching it carefully all week, because we were worried that cartilage might be protruding.

Friday the condition finally improved considerably, so we are thinking it is probably just the membrane protruding which should heal if we take care of it. The doctor was even comfortable enough to take out the stitches.

No problem. I have a thing for cats while I am in mourning for my 16 year old who passed in January. He was a precocious gray tabby/white cat who was with me from his feral 3 week old stage until I moved to Japan. Keep taking the amusing photos.

I'm on a cat photo binge. I really got struck by paws sticking out of the plane. Also, Odin is quite the name for a kitty.

NP, I'm on a cat photo kick. I miss my baby. Anything that catches the essence of catness.

I'm onna cat photo thing right now, probably because one of my babies left this world about a month ago. Technically yours isn't a photo, but the lines caught my attention on ACGalaga's page. Thanks for writing it.
